Our Ladies' Group provides fellowship, service, and spiritual growth opportunities for the women of the congregation. Organizes Bible studies, service projects, meal ministries, and fundraising events that support church operations and missions. Often coordinates funeral luncheons, holiday bazaars, and care packages for members in need.

Our Ladies’ Group was formed especially for the purpose of supporting the LWML (Lutheran Women’s Missionary League) and participating in LWML programs. Our officers are as follows: JoAnn Gust as President, Kathy Tice as Vice President, Janice Harless as Treasurer and Phillis Daws as Secretary.  We have Executive Committee (EC—our four officers) and general meetings several times a year.  Like the LWML, our Zion Ladies’ Group has bylaws.

We have Bible devotions at all our meetings, social and fellowship activities, Friday ladies’ lunches, etc.).  We regularly collect Mites (your loose change) to support all the missions around the world and we are committed to the LWML Missions.  We encourage all Zion women to come to our Mid-Michigan zone, district, and LWML events, such as district and national conventions and prayer services when possible.  Our LWML group is recognized with the district and national LWML so that we are included in zone activities and communication.

 

Our Ladies’ Group unites the women of the congregation in one general LWML group, with smaller groups working separately in their areas of interest (e.g. Altar Guild, Bible studies, missions, quilting, funeral dinners, etc.).    For more information about our Facebook Ladies' Group page, please go to https://www.facebook.com/61579178503047/
