Welcome Pastor Noah Dunsmore

Pastor Noah Dunsmore is originally from Waterford, Michigan, a township about an hour northwest of Detroit. He has one sister, Liz, who just finished up an Associate's degree in Cybersecurity and a future brother-in-law, Richie, who works as an appliance repairman. Noah attended Concordia University Chicago as a member or the Pre-Seminary program with a double major in Philosophy and Theological Languages. It was there that he met his wife, Rachel, through the Concordia Youth Ministry campus organization. They will have been together for 8 years come October 2026 and have been married for 4 years. Their anniversary is June 4th.
Rachel graduated from CUC with a degree in Business Intelligence and Analytics and worked as a Marketing Analyst for Essex Brownell in Fort Wayne, IN for 3 years. Now she is very excited to stay at home with their daughter Eleanor, who will be two years old come July 23rd. Eleanor has brought immense joy to their lives and brought lots of excitement to the family when she was born just 2 days after he was installed as a vicar at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Columbus, Ohio!
Noah is an avid reader of Theology, Philosophy, and Literature, and is (in)famous among his friends and family for collecting boxes and boxes of books. He also enjoys working on his German reading skills. Two of his favorite authors are Flannery O'Connor and Graham Greene. He also enjoys exploring new breweries, spending time outside (especially out on the water!), and fishing.
Rachel also enjoys spending time outside, baking, playing the cello, and most of all being a faithful wife and mom. Both Rachel and Noah are eager to continue settling into Mount Pleasant and getting to know the saints at Zion and Christ the King!
