Lutheran Women's Missionary League
The Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML) is officially the women's auxiliary organization of The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod with Member societies within synodical congregations.
The mission of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League is to assist each woman of The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod in affirming her relationship with the Triune God so that she is enabled to use her gifts in ministry to the people of the world.
The purpose of the LWML is:
To further Christ's mission to the world by supporting the work of the church and by providing education, inspiration, and opportunities for service, both at home and in the world.
To give voluntarily through our Mite Box offering contributions.
The LWML Michigan District supports its programs with 75% of the Mite Box offerings and forwards the remaining 25% to national LWML for its projects and programs.

We have general meetings with potlucks in September and November in 2025; March, and May in 2026, with Pastor Greenhagen leading a short Bible Study before our meetings, followed by our potluck and short meeting.
Topics of discussion involve our LWML Rallies and Conventions (District and National), our Lutheran Ladies’ Group activities during the year, our fundraisers, which include our bi-annual Rummage Sale, annual Cookie Walk/Bazaar, our monthly Ladies’ lunch on Fridays, etc.
All Zion women are invited to our Friday lunches at 11:30 am during the year. We eat at local restaurants in Mt. Pleasant, such as Culver’s, Panera Bread, IHOP, Freddie’s Tavern, Pisanello’s, Applebee’s and Los Palominos.
